After endless revisions to Hexmag’s concept, the first 3D prototype was shown to the gun community in early 2013. Months were devoted to fine-tuning Hexmag’s proprietary fiber-reinforced polymer. While we were at it, we dreamt up a tool-less design, pioneered an ammunition ID system and created Hexmag’s very own Grip Tape to complement our magazine’s one-of-a-kind hexagon design.
